OnePlus 7 to reportedly launch globally on 14th May

We're expecting the OnePlus 7 Pro to launch in May, as leaker Ishan Agarwal very confidently confirms that information.

Whilst a launch date remains unclear, OnePlus' TV project is reportedly the furthermost progressed amongst its other R&D pursuits - e.g. computing and automotive tech. The all-new OnePlus 7 series of smartphones are being teased with Go Beyond Speed slogan, which hints that the upcoming OnePlus smartphones will be faster than the previous generation OnePlus smartphones.

PS: Still not 100% Sure, maybe for development only. Along with the launch date the leaks also reveals the tagline for upcoming smartphone which is "Go Beyond Speed".

The model number of the variant that leaked is GM1915, while Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on that smartphone.

In terms of camera, it features a triple camera module at rear consisting of camera sensors of 48MP, 16MP and 8MP.

Despite the high price of foldable phones, Lau claims the devices don't offer significantly different functional features than a traditional smartphone.

Recently the company brought its special OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition to the country running on 10GB RAM and Warp Charge.

One source posted that OnePlus might be going with "Go Beyond Speed" as the official tagline of the OnePlus 7 Pro. Lastly, as confirmed, the company will keep away from launching any folding smartphones as of now. The smartphone would share the same SoC as its Pro variant.

This probably won't be the proper OnePlus 7 announcement, so don't get your hopes up for that. The phone's display is expected to be smaller, though the device will probably just as powerful as the OnePlus 7 Pro, at least that's expected at this point, all the details are not in yet. That said, let's wait for the launch to see what OnePlus has been cooking exactly.
