Kyrie Irving 'detached' from Celtics

But In The next match, they have to play very well to defeat Kyrie Irving's Boston Celtics As they Will Definitely Qualify for the Playoffs.

Celtics guard Jaylen Brown has blamed a "toxic" environment for Boston's highly underwhelming 2018-19 campaign.

"I've shared it with some of my teammates as well as the organization as well as everyone else in Boston", Irving said at an event for season-ticket holders at TD Garden, via the Celtics. He has admitted to struggling with leading the team, even calling LeBron James to make a personal apology for their falling-out in Cleveland.

The other question is, does this mean Irving will sign with the Knicks?

Kyrie Irving has been at odds with a lot of things lately. Kyrie Irving told reporters, "I don't owe anybody s--", when asked about his free agency on February 1.

Before the loss to the Rockets on Sunday, Irving was seen walking into the arena, followed by TV cameras, saying, "I'm not gonna miss any of this s- when I'm done playing".

Some in the National Basketball Association world questioned Irving's comments, noting that he starred in the film "Uncle Drew" last summer and is reportedly set to star in a movie about the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City.

As most of the team has adopted the "flip the switch" mentality with the final month of the regular season, Brown still believes the squad can turn it around before the playoffs. So it's a little hard for me, I wanted those things when I was younger, but at this point in my career, I just want to play basketball at a very, very high level, and the distractions that come within a team sometimes can get overwhelming, and I'm human.

Irving could turn a corner and bring his game to a new level once the postseason begins.

Kyrie says it's not just him who has had to face the media's wrath this year and that some of the league's biggest players are facing criticism they don't necessarily deserve.

However, with three-quarters of the season now past, it looks increasingly like there are real, deep-rooted issues with Irving and the Celtics.

Celtics head coach Brad Stevens acknowledged the team has failed to even approach their lofty goals for the season, but agrees with Brown that it's not too late to turn things around.
