Oklahoma QB Murray measured at 5-foot

Based on that "Trends for you" information, Murray's height was not only the most important news break in sports Thursday morning, but it was a bigger topic than the abrupt end of president Donald Trump's summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to discuss denuclearization. His hand size was 9 4/8 inches.

Getty Kyler Murray's early results at the NFL Combine are solid. Meaning Murray was not only small, but also slight.

For reference, Murray was measured one inch shorter than Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, but three pounds heavier than Wilson was at the 2012 NFL Combine.

So it's settled. That's it. Murray, who by some was considered closer to 5-9 before his Combine measurement, now has a chance to succeed as a passer in the NFL.

Teams weren't just interested to see how Murray officially measured up height-wise.

Murray is battling Ohio State's Dwayne Haskins to be the top quarterback selected in the 2019 National Football League draft.

Now, according to a report from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Murray has decided against throwing - for now. Elway, who played 16 seasons at quarterback at 6-3, said Wednesday he thinks Murray's height might make him a bad fit for the Broncos, who plan to play their QB more often under center next season.

Miami also has two other quarterbacks now in tow: Luke Falk, who spent his rookie season on injured reserve past year, and Jake Rudock, a former St. Thomas Aquinas High standout who spent his first three seasons on the Detroit Lions practice squad.
