Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continued with their visit to Bristol.

She's giving birth in a matter of months but that hasn't stopped the Duchess of Sussex from carrying out her royal duties.

They then heard about the work of One25, an organization that helps women break free from prostitution and addiction, meeting volunteers who run an outreach program for 150 women who work on Bristol's streets.

Kate, wearing an Alexander McQueen coat in a Black Watch tartan, said: 'I have been amazed by the breathtaking architecture and the sheer range of design on display'. She was also a "briefcase girl", on the popular NBC game show "Deal Or No Deal" before playing Rachel Zane on USA's "Suits".

"I thought it was the most incredible idea - this small gesture".

Meghan wrote down messages such as "You are special", and "You are courageous", on the outside of the bananas.

Dozens of people had waited in snow and freezing temperatures to greet Meghan and Harry outside the Bristol Old Vic theatre.

"It is unbelievable that they chose to come here", she said. "Our train was a little bit delayed but we tried our best to get here fast". After shaking Meghan's hand, the child told the royal, "Your hand is cold".

The Duchess of Sussex visited City University London yesterday, the last in her recent spate of patronage visits since it was announced that she'd been handed patronage of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

The duke and duchess, who are expecting their first baby at the end of April, were given a turquoise knitted sock monkey with buttons for eyes, bearing a tag with the words "Wishing you and Sock Monkey joy and adventure on life's travels xxx".

Harry also spoke to the good work the charity was doing for sex workers who may have lost faith.
