Tyreek Hill is key vs Patriots in AFC Championship Game

While Chiefs fans will be chanting "MVP" "MVP", Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will be hosting their first AFC Championship on their home field. Whoever wins this game is representing the AFC in the Super Bowl, something the Chiefs haven't experienced since the 1969 season.

The Patriots claimed the second seed in the AFC by winning the AFC East, while the Chiefs won their tie-breaker with the Los Angeles Chargers and took the No. 1 seed by clinching the AFC West. After a surprisingly mortal regular season, Touchdown Tom transformed into a playoff God against the Chargers, burying the Bolts with a steady diet of short passes, majority to Julian Edelman (9-151-0) and James White (15-97-0).

If the Chiefs want to advance to their first Super Bowl in almost 50 years, they'll need Eric Berry to play at his typical All Pro level. Quarterback Tom Brady passed for 340 yards and a touchdown that night, while running back Sony Michel pounded out 106 yards on the ground.

If the Patriots win, Gina will be sending us some Kansas City barbecue, but if the Chiefs win, we will send them Vermont maple syrup. With the cold weather expected in Kansas City and with the loud noise of Arrowhead Stadium, Brady and the Patriots are going to have to be just as balanced on offense. That plays into the under, as does the fact that the Pats only averaged 21 points per game on the road this year, which was the lowest of Brady's career.
