Michy Batshuayi has loan spell terminated by Valencia

Chelsea striker, Michy Batshuayi is set to return to Stamford Bridge this month after Valencia made a decision to cut his loan short. "We are negotiating the player's exit with various other clubs", Alemany said, according to Sky Sports.

Michy Batshuayi's impending departure from Valencia could result in Everton making a move for the Chelsea-owned striker.

But for all of Batshuayi's impressive scoring rates around Europe, he found himself loaned out once more this season to Spanish side Valencia. "I expect he will leave in the coming hours or days", Alemany said.

The Belgian is on a season-long loan deal at Valencia but the Mirror report that it is set to be cut short as he has netted just three goals in 23 matches in all competitions so far this season.

The Belgium worldwide struggled for playing time at Los Che scoring just three times in 23 appearances. "He is leaving and it's now a matter of negotiation", he stressed.

Batshuayi was called back from Spain at the beginning of the month but it's not to make an impact on Chelsea's fight for the Champions League, it's to get sold.

And Valencia have now confirmed that they have told the striker that he has no future at the club.

But Everton should overlook the fact that it is Batshuayi's poor performances that have even opened the door to them signing him at this juncture at all.

Should he complete the move to the Ligue 1 strugglers then he would reunite with Thierry Henry, with the former Arsenal striker and current Monaco manager having previously worked as a coach for the Belgian national team.
