Mahrez Gives Emotional Interview After Dedicating Goal To Vichai

The crash claimed five lives - including the Thai billionaire owner of the Leicester City Football Club, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

Pilots Eric Swaffer and Izabela Roza Lechowicz and members of staff Kaveporn Punpare and Nursara Suknamai also died.

'Following Saturday evening's bad events at King Power Stadium, the thoughts and feelings of Leicester City FC are at the forefront of our minds, ' Choo said in a statement on the club's website.

"A book of condolence, which will be shared with the Srivaddhanaprabha family, will be opened at King Power Stadium from 8am on Tuesday 30 October for supporters wishing to pay their respects".

Claudio Ranieri revealed on Monday he had been "terribly shaken" by the death of Leicester City boss Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

The Algerian global was a key player in Leicester's miraculous Premier League title win in 2016, joining the club from French side Le Havre two years before.

A striking photo of Kung Vichai is the current centrepiece of a moving memorial area outside the stadium where thousands of fans have left flowers and messages.

Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's son, Aiyawatt, has played for the team, which won the Queens Cup, one of the worlds most prestigious polo competitions, in 2015.

"It's odd", he had said, "because my feeling is the worst feeling I've had in the five years that I've been here".

Pearson is credited with saving Leicester from relegation in 2014-15, his side winning seven of their last eight matches, before he was sacked after disagreements with the board.

"As a mark of respect, players will wear black armbands at all Premier League fixtures this weekend".

Tonight's scheduled Foxes home match in the League Cup against Southampton having already been postponed.

There will also be a minute's silence before each game.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) are still conducting their investigation into what caused Saturday's tragedy.

"I have a feeling we still have a lot to improve", he said. "Today, our inspectors in Farnborough will start working on the recorder, which was subject to intense heat as a result of the post-accident fire".
