Lionel MESSI hat trick in FC Barcelona Champions League win against PSV

PSV Eindhoven attacker Hirving Lozano has revealed that Barcelona was keen on signing him this summer.

Coutinho, who has not featured regularly from the start for Barca, has now claimed that being compared to the 2010 FIFA World Cup victor is "tough".

Ernesto Valverde's team predictably dominated the opening 30 minutes, but PSV looked risky on the counter-attack with Steven Bergwijn curling a shot just wide of Marc-Andre ter Stegen's goal and Hirving Lozano missing one from distance after a speedy run down the right flank.

"It would be a dream to come to this club, but right now I am focused on PSV and enjoying my football". The curling, left-footed strike came in the 31st minute at the Camp Nou, after Barca's Ousmane Dembele was hacked down by PSV defender Nick Viergever.

"Thanks to God I'm able to".

"Messi, like all of us, is really motivated to win big things [this season] and the Champions League is one of them".

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi reportedly told the club to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

PSV are the 30th team Messi has scored against in the Champions League, while he's also managed to find the net past an incredible 179 goalkeepers.

Despite leading the Catalans to a league and cup double last season, though, the forward has been overlooked for a string of individual awards in recent months.

Lionel Messi scored a record-setting hat trick as Barcelona opened their Champions League campaign in Group B with an impressive 4-0 win against PSV Eindhoven at the Camp Nou.

"If tomorrow we get a good result I don't care if they fight for Messi's shirt", Van Bommel told a news conference.

'That is part of being a professional, to always be concentrating. "I know they will ask him for the shirt, but they shouldn't do it at halftime".

He added that Barca were more than a one-man show.
