Features to Look After in the OnePlus 6T Launching Later This Year

The appearance of the OnePlus 6T in carrier stores would mark the first time the Chinese startup has inked a deal with a carrier in the U.S., which could get its phones in the hands of many more consumers.

A new report from CNET, who cited people "familiar with the launch plans" of the OnePlus 6T, declared the hardware will launch in October. The expected price of the successor to the OnePlus 6 would probably be in the vicinity of $550 (₹38,000) for the base model. OnePlus will still sell an unlocked version of the OnePlus 6T, according to the report, which would work just fine on AT&T's network (or anywhere else in the world). This marks the first time that OnePlus will have a US carrier partner for a device launch.

For the past couple of years, OnePlus has launched two phones every year: the big generation leap, followed by a "T" version that's similar, but with some upgraded specs and features.

The new flagship will be a temporary exclusive to the American operator T-Mobile, and then will be sold worldwide. And why shouldn't it, the company makes flagship killer phones that can take on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S9, Apple iPhone X, etc, and sells it for half the price. The upcoming OnePlus 6T is likely to resemble Oppo R17 as the OnePlus resembles much like Oppo R15 which is OnePlus' sister company belonging to the same group called BBK Electronics. It also has a huge following in the United States. And as for the device itself, the rumor mill has been pretty hush on the 6T thus far, though we were already quite certain it was arriving ahead of the holiday season anyway.

If the OnePlus 6T is indeed being planned for October, we should see OnePlus start teasing the device in the coming weeks. For the unaware, Oppo is the parent company of OnePlus. This includes support for the 600MHz that promises better and faster coverage.
