Leak Shows 'Clearly White' Pixel 3 XL

Over the weekend, XDA Developers Forum user dr.guru claimed to have gotten their hands on a Google Pixel 3 XL, the larger of the two flagship handsets from the company that are slated to arrive later this year.

"I am not the owner of the device, I just took the pictures when I saw it", dr.guru wrote.

With the Pixel 3, Google is ditching the famous two-tone black-and-white "panda" color scheme for the device. The device isn't far from being publicly released, and new pictures of the device's all-white version have been leaked recently.

From the "supposedly Pixel 3 XL model", the black and white model has the same aesthetics (you can see the surface design is the same as the predecessor) for the main camera, LED flashlight and the fingerprint sensor on the back, as well as the rather big notch at the front which should feature the front camera and a face recognition sensor.

A fresh leak purports to show the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL smartphone that could lure iPhone owners away from their next upgrade come September. We had a hint at these designs back in May when some tempered glass screen protectors for the Pixel 3 and 3XL were leaked. Internally, the test model carries 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, presumably as Google plans to continue pushing its cloud services. The dock thus converts your smartphone into a kind of Google Home device.

But Google may have more surprises under its sleeve aside from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

If Google runs with the schedule they've had in the past, they'll reveal the Google Pixel 3 at the beginning of October 2018. "The top part is glossy and the bottom is matte but it's a single part", the poster wrote of the glass panel, which may allow for wireless charging.
