Fortnite Season 5: Where to Search 7 Floating Lightning Bolts

Having unlocked the golf toy, drop into the island and head over to Lazy Links, the spot on the map that replaced Anarchy Acres.

Fortnite Season 5 is here and you need to search seven Lightning Bolts for one of the week one challenges. A drought has hit the area and now it looks like a desert.

But what fans really want to know is whether or not Save the World is free with Season 5. Other un-named POI have also been added to the island. Rewards change each Season, so check out the Battle Pass tab in the game to see what can be earned.

Season 5 of Fortnite: Battle Royale is officially underway, which means players now have a new set of challenges to complete and Battle Pass rewards to unlock. The season 5 free pass will "open up the first three challenges of every week to free players", according to Polygon.

Other new features are Rifts, which pop up throughout the map.

Starting in Season 5, progressive challenges will no longer be restricted to a single season. These will take you "for a wild ride" if you dare step in, so maybe they'll act as some kind of teleportation portal.

There's also a new vehicle, the All Terrain Kart (the ATK) which will accommodate your whole squad. The ATK also features a speed boost after drifting, the roof acting as a bounce pad and passengers in the back being able to help the driver leap over vehicles by leaning back and releasing. As always, do not forget to finish out the match you're in once you've completed a challenge in order to be sure you get credit for it. You'll now be able to see how many pellets made contact with your enemy, through the reticle, and the spread pattern for each shot will become consistent.

And this time next week we'll be sure to update you on the location of the Week 2 hidden battle star the second it's verified. There will now be a delay when players switch from firing one shotgun to another.
