Cruise Worker Goes Overboard, Found by Another Cruise Ship

A crew member who plunged off a Norwegian Cruise Line ship on Saturday and was feared lost was rescued Sunday by another cruise ship sailing the same route.

However, a cabin steward from another cruise ship, Carnival Glory, spotted the man in the water at about 1.20pm on Sunday.

#BreakingNews Missing cruise ship crewmember found and rescued 21 miles north of Cuba.

A hotel steward aboard the Carnival Glory spotted the man in the water Sunday afternoon. Top agents vie for coveted hosted positions to leverage valuable supplier content that will help improve personal growth and increase overall sales.

"This is nothing short of miraculous", says Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

"We slowed down, turned the ship around and maneuvered the Carnival Glory near where the person was in the water", said Capt. Pero Grubješić of the Glory.

We were first notified of the incident when an oncoming guest stated that the Getaway has been delayed because a crew member went overboard.

The 33-year-old Filipino man had been lost overboard at around 3:20 p.m. Saturday about 28 miles north of Cuba.

"We saw the cruise ship made a u turn and started heading back we noticed that the crewmembers were using binoculars trying to find the crewmember in the ocean", said passenger Eddy Lowinger.

Coast Guard spokesman Jonathan Lally told CBS Miami the service searched 1,636 square miles for the man. More Coast Guard assets joined the search not long after.

Both the Glory and the Getaway were on cruises out of Miami.
