Halo Infinite Announced by Microsoft Through New E3 2018 Trailer

We'll keep you updated on any new information on Halo Infinite as it comes during this week's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The game, which was rumored in advance of the press conference, features the return of Master Chief and is rendered in a brand new graphics engine that 343 Industries is referring to as "Slipcase". The original Halo released as a launch title for the original Xbox in 2001. The series went on to sell over 65 million games. We know that the game will star our beloved Master Chief, and at least in the trailer, so other soldiers were shown exploring the alien world as well. We are taking the time we need to make the right game and are making changes to how we approach things this time around. The lack of a number in the title and the name-drop of a new engine - dubbed "Slipspace" - also suggest this is no ordinary follow-up.

"We will join Master Chief on his greatest adventure yet to save humanity", said Xbox chief Phil Spencer after the trailer aired.
