Agent 47 Returns in Hitman 2 Announcement Trailer

Hitman 2 was confirmed by Warner Bros. early this morning. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC on November 13th, 2018. From sun-drenched streets to dark and unsafe rain forests, each of Hitman 2's intricate locations will provide multiple paths and unparalleled ways to dispatch your unlucky targets. It has also been announced that the Sniper Assassin mode will be returning to Hitman 2, but for the first time will bring a co-op experience allowing players to take down their targets side by side. As an incentive to secure your purchase of Hitman 2, Sniper Assassin Mode is being offered as a bonus for preordering the game, and can be played right now, months ahead of the final game's release.

Agent 47's lethal escapades will continue in Hitman 2, which serves as a direct sequel to IO Interactive's 2016 reboot.

Jordan Oloman is a Freelance Writer for IGN who always wonders how much Agent 47 would cost if you scanned his barcode at the supermarket. We'll get the entire game from the get-go this time around, but the developers make it absolutely clear that we'll still see a lot of new content after launch too.

Of the six new locations, only Miami has been revealed so far, but the official HITMAN website has locked placeholders for more.

Details are still scarce on Hitman 2, but we did get some nuggets of information about this title from IO Interactive. "We couldn't have wished for a better partner than Warner bring this game to our passionate community and introduce new players to our universe". According to IO Interactive studio head Hakan Abrak, speaking during a livestream event with IGN, Hitman 2 "picks up the story where we left it on the last one". It will showcase Agent 47's past through the views of different characters.

Are you a Hitman fan, excited for a new installment, or were you put off by the reboot? A standard edition priced at $59.99, a Silver Edition for $79.99 and a Gold Edition for $99.99.
