Kanye Apparently Lost 9 Million Followers After Trump Retweet

Kardashian, 37, stood up for West on Wednesday after he was criticized for tweeting his support for Donald Trump, for which the president later extended his thanks.

"You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him", West tweeted on Wednesday. "We are both dragon energy".

Trump actually responded to West's tweet calling him his brother, writing, "Thank you Kanye, very cool!" "And any fan of me wants Ye to be Ye even when they don't agree because I represent the fact that they can be themselves even when people don't agree with them. Because he loves Trump!"

But he added that he also loves former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. That December, West and Trump met at Trump Tower in New York City, after which the then president-elect told reporters that they'd been friends "for a long time". "Note: Lyor just called to say "I JUST WENT TO LISTEN TO MUSIC & see Kanye".

West opened a torrent of criticism when he tweeted videos of Trump supporter Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert cartoon series, on his Twitter account Monday.

Earlier this week, West lavished praise on another famously outspoken billionaire: Tesla's Elon Musk. "I love Hillary too".

Chance the Rapper also tweeted in support of West.

Obama publicly called West a "jackass" in 2009 after the rapper interrupted Taylor Swift's speech at the VMAs.

West followed his tweet about Trump with a photo of a "Make America Great Again" hat signed by Trump and a photo of Trump's tweet on his phone.

She continues, "Now when he spoke out about Trump".

'Ye didn't get into specifics about what Obama did-or didn't do-for his hometown, which is why many people have speculated he's referring to the lack of improvements within black community. In a series of tweets, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star slammed reports that the rapper's mental health is waning and noted that he "will never run in the race of popular opinion".

Jesse Watters said the conversation is not about taking political sides on individual issues, but instead "celebrating people for being independent thinkers".
