UK Mirror rates new Super Eagles' jersey as the best

Nigeria's new kits for the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation have been revealed as the Super Eagles gear up for this summer's tournament in Russian Federation.

Present at the unveiling, in which Arsenal's Alex Iwobi featured as model, were skipper Obi Mikel, Leicester City pair Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho.

What appears to be the away kit has the shirt in predominantly light green background with bold white V-shaped patterns drawn on it.

The new home kit features the customary white shirt with blue shorts and red detailing.

Brought to life by Nike, the team behind the jersey is however said to have been Nigerian.

"With Nigeria, we wanted to tap into the attitude of the nation", notes Dan Farron, Nike Football Design Director.

Nike unveiled the Super Eagles' kit Wednesday, and the designs are meant to be a nod to the country's past glory days.

Earlier this week, England finally released their kits for the 2018 World Cup and well, they went down a treat with plenty of supporters.

"We started to see trends in attitude and energy connecting the athletes to music, fashion and more".

Both England and Nigeria have released the strips they will be wearing in Russian Federation. and they are both glorious.
