LiAngelo, LaMelo Ball sign with agent to play basketball overseas

LaVar said his primary goal for his two sons is for them to go somewhere together where they can play and get back onto the court. The Ball family's decision effectively strips LiAngelo and LaMelo of their amateur status and prevents them from playing at the college level.

LiAngelo Ball, a shooting guard, will meet the NBA's draft requirements in June: He'll be 19 years old and a year removed from his high school graduation.

Earlier this week, Lavar Ball had said LaMelo Ball would still play for UCLA, but Thursday morning, he said LaMelo Ball will not play college basketball.

LiAngelo Ball is not considered a National Basketball Association prospect and LaMelo just turned 16, and was pulled out of his high school earlier this year when LaVar Ball had disagreements with the coach.

This comes after LaVar yanked LaMelo from Chino Hills High School earlier this year to train and home-school him before doing the same with LiAngelo, taking him out of UCLA earlier this week.

LaVar Ball told Jeff Goodman that he'll deputize a trio of Ball uncles to accompany the brothers wherever they go and help prepare them for an National Basketball Association future. However, Trump and LaVar Ball engaged in a war of words after Trump demanded that the players thank him for his help.

The report indicated that overseas clubs in Europe and Asia have expressed interest in signing the two players, but did not say a deal has been signed yet. "If they are over there, I wish them the best", Ball said. "I'm letting Harrison handle all that, but I know there are a few teams interested".

Gaines also represents the oldest of the Ball brothers, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball.

A professional team in Lithuania has offered the Ball Brothers a job, but not the one they are looking for.
