Bungie Releases Details on the Upcoming Updates for Destiny 2

Destiny 2 will be unplayable for a few hours today as developer Bungie performs server maintenance.

At long last, Destiny 2 joins the growing list of games that are Xbox One X enhanced as of today. The Tree of Probabilities Strike takes place in the Infinite Forest.

Once you've beaten the introductory story mission for the expansion, (which should take right around 20 minutes), you'll have access to the brand new social hub area on Mercury, featuring Brother Vance as a new vendor. Destiny 2 will now support 4K UHD resolution and high-dynamic range (HDR).

Other changes include increased damage to bosses from Super abilities, increased rate of Legendary item drops from Public Events for players that have reached level 20, a higher recommended power level for the Leviathan raid, a host of buffs and nerfs for numerous games weapons and countless bug fixes in all areas of the game.

DESTINY 2's first expansion is almost upon us and it's bringing big changes to the game.
