Michael Flynn's legal team breaks ties with Donald Trump

Now the New York Times is reporting Flynn's legal team has ended an agreement to share information about the Russian Federation probe, led by special counsel Robert Mueller, with lawyers representing Donald Trump and the White House.

Former FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress in June that Trump asked him to end the bureau's investigation into Flynn's conversations with Kislyak they day after Flynn's resignation, telling him, "I hope you can let this go".

The New York Times says the move is "an indication that Mr. Flynn is cooperating with prosecutors or negotiating a deal", although "the notification alone does not prove that Flynn is cooperating with Mueller".

Lawyers for Mr. Flynn and Mr. Trump declined to comment.

"No one should draw the conclusion that this means anything about General Flynn cooperating against the President", Sekulow added.

So far three Trump campaign officials have been charged, including former chairman Paul Manafort, aide Rick Gates and foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos, who has pleaded guilty.

"Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues without penalty to the players", he said, shortly after the New York Times reported former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn could be moving to cooperate with an investigation into the Trump campaign's possible ties to Russian Federation.

Flynn was subject to questions and scrutiny during his brief stint as the White House national security adviser over phone calls with the former Russian ambassador to the US, Sergey Kislyak.

According to sources familiar with the Mueller investigation, prosecutors are interested in Kian's ties with Inovo BV and other lobbying efforts performed by The Flynn Intel Group on behalf of foreign governments that may have yet to be disclosed. They were indicted by Mueller's grand jury last month.
