Cowboys LB Sean Lee out vs. Rams with hamstring strain

PLAYER OF THE GAME: The Cowboys couldn't figure out a way to stop Todd Gurley in the second half, and that's what ultimately doomed Dallas.

The game is a battle between second-year quarterbacks with the Los Angeles Rams having Jared Goff and the Dallas Cowboys with Dak Prescott, as both were drafted to their teams in 2016 with Goff being the No. 1 overall pick and Prescott being selected in the fourth round. That unit has to be missing Sean Lee. "He did not practice all week because of a hamstring strain and was listed as questionable".

Here's what you need to know.

Cowboys: Green Bay returns to Arlington next Sunday after beating the top-seeded Cowboys on their home field in a divisional playoff last January. Yet, coach Jason Garrett said Lawrence's success is a product of the push up front from Collins. "Marinelli has those guys playing really hard". At their current pace, they will surpass last season's total sometime during Week 7's tilt with the division-rival Arizona Cardinals.

In his past three games against the Cowboys, McVay's offense in Washington averaged 27.7 points per game, which is a number he'll probably be looking to blow out of the water with his suddenly high-flying offense in Los Angeles. "I think he makes everybody around him better but injuries are a part of the game and if he's able to play, obviously we'd love to have him but if he's not, put somebody else in there and we'll keep rolling".

If the Cowboys defense isn't at full strength on Sunday, the Rams could be in the ideal position to pull off a huge upset. Dallas' Dez Bryant also has two TDs, but just 114 yards on 11 catches. He's ranked third in the National Football League, behind only Alex Smith and Tom Brady.

Goff was 21 of 36 for 255 yards and two touchdowns. Gurley made a nice open-field move and completed the 47-yard touchdown to give the Rams the lead for the first time, at 26-24, with 2:59 left in the third quarter. A regression is coming.

It was a dramatic turnaround for the Rams' defense, which was terrible early on. Now, those two look like potential building blocks. He has five tackles and one sack in two games and the two-time Pro Bowler will certainly have the attention of the Cowboys.

One of the wrinkles the Rams like to use is the jet sweep motion. RB Ezekiel Elliott has 958 yards rushing, eight TDs in nine career home games. Todd Gurley became the second running back in three games to rush for more than 100 yards against Dallas.

Sean McVay is the youngest head coach in the league and inherited a club that scores an NFL-low 224 points a year ago.

But as much offensive fire power both teams have, this game could ultimately be decided by the defenses.

Don't worry Cowboys fans, that "sign" Witten's talking about has nothing to do with retirement.
