'You're in such good shape', Trump tells French President's wife

During a joint appearance, Macron and Trump took note of their policy differences while mentioning that "it's important to keep communicating" as the two nations shared "major common goals".

Donald Trump has long had a reputation for being sexist, but his interaction with France's first lady on Thursday is further evidence that the man is almost incapable of having a proper interaction with a woman in power.

The video nearly immediately went viral after it was posted on Twitter.

He said "something could happen with respect to the Paris Accord".

Mr Trump saluted as U.S. military personnel - some in first World War battledress - opened the march-past with the Arc de Triomphe in the background.

In the recent past, France has witnessed multiple terror attacks including the Nice terror attack during the Bastille Day celebrations previous year. However, despite serious talks between the leaders, the handshakes were scrutinized online Friday. Another Twitter user described the interaction "awkward".

While, it might be too soon to say what happened to President Trump in Paris, but it seems that he is now giving a thought to planet Earth.

Macron invited Trump to join him for Bastille Day festivities, notes The New York Times. Macron later admitted the hand shake was not "innocent". It is unclear what Brigitte Macron said in response.

Macron said he and Trump had managed to look past their "occasional disagreements" to focus on their countries' long-lasting alliance.

And a month before the 2016 presidential election, a recording of Trump's conversation with then-Access Hollywood host Billy Bush were released where he was heard saying that as a star, "you can do anything", including grabbing women "by the p***y". She's in such good physical shape.

Donald Trump watched USA and French soldiers march together through the Paris sunshine in a double celebration Friday marking 100 years since the United States entered the First World War and France's annual Bastille Day holiday.
