NFL Draft: Twitter reactions to Steelers three Day 2 draft selections

Bryant was reinstated by the league earlier this week after serving a one-year suspension for violating the substance-abuse policy.

Tough for Bryant to be calling out his teammate's job when he contributed roughly zero to his team's AFC North division title in 2016.

JuJu Smith-Schuster isn't a speed demon like some of the other receivers in this draft class, but he provides an element coaches want out their receivers: grit.

Either way, consider this wealth of playmakers for the Steelers' high-powered attack in 2017 training camp: Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, Martavis Bryant, Ladarius Green, Smith-Schuster, Eli Rogers, Conner, Sammie Coates, Justin Hunter, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Cobi Hamilton.

Being under the wing of the best wide out in the game (yes, bring on your Julio Jones arguments I dare you) will do wonders for Smith Schuster.

Smith-Schuster was one of the Trojans' most productive pass catchers before he chose to forego his final season of eligibility in January to enter the draft.

Haley gushed about Smith-Schuster's competitiveness and passion, lauding the receiver's blocking ability.

Smith-Schuster became the highest wide receiver drafted by the Steelers in nine years, since Limas Sweed was drafted 53rd overall in 2008. He finished his career with 213 receptions for 3,092 yards and 25 touchdowns.

The Pittsburgh Steelers chose three new teammates Friday night, including University of Pittsburgh James Conner.

Bryant eventually deleted the tweet.

UPDATE: Steelers' coach Mike Tomlin is playing the role of peacemaker.

With their four most pressing needs accounted for, the Steelers can now go into the draft's final four rounds today and go in a number of different directions. However, looking at the Steelers past, they likely aren't going to tolerate a player who's more concerned about himself than the success of the team. With this draft pick both players performances have been put on alert and there will be an odd man out come 2018.
